Learn to draw - If you want to draw people, caricatures, or find about basic rules of art, check this website.

Sheeran Lock Art Gallery offers an eclectic and excellent range of art, with excellent quality of the images. You can zoom in on individual artwork to reveal astonishing detail of each painter’s masterly stroke. Best of all is the use of media, particularly video. Gallery curator John Sheeran has created a series of illuminating films of UK artists which are a pleasure and an education to watch.

The Minneapolis Institute of Arts - If you can't go in person then pay a virtual visit to this amazing collection.

The National Gallery - A superb complementary resource to a visit to one of London's finest galleries.

Van Gogh Gallery - This site is not a substitute for a real thing (Van Gogh Gallery in Amsterdam), but is a faithful and chronological representation of the artist's work. You can buy prints of most of the paintings too.

White Cube - Art lovers can experience excitement of this gallery in London in Hoxton Square with its excellent interactive design.

SETI@home - SETI@home is a scientific experiment that harnesses the power of hundreds of thousands of Internet-connected computers in the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI). You can participate by running a free program that downloads and analyzes radio telescope data. There's a small but captivating possibility that your computer will detect the faint murmur of a civilization beyond Earth.
