World record catch is still somewhere down there, so start to prepare for next year 4th International Big Game Fishing in Croatia !!!

 

 

Some BIG GAME FISHING IN CROATIA 2001 facts

This year there were 30 teams from Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Slovenia & Croatia. Winning team, second year in a row, is "Fazla" boat team. They caught two tunas, one 107 kg in weight and second one 169 kg.

 

1st day catch: 1,056 kg = 1,444 points (1,37 points/kg)

2nd day catch: 577 kg = 2,013 points (3,49 points/kg)

3rd day catch: 311 kg = 1,555 (5 points/kg)

 

Whole catch over 3 days of competition: 1944 kg 

Total tuna catch (10 tuna): 767 kg

 

Winning Team: Sead Fazlic team from Zagreb (Croatia)

2nd Place: Denis Klarin team from Jezera (Croatia)

3rd Place: Lars Furberg team (Sweden)
