World Landmarks

Tall Buildings - You'll need a head for heights and a taste in cutting-edge architecture as you delve in to the Tall Buildings online exhibition hosted by New York's Museum of Modern Art. The 25 giants were chosen for their technology, engineering and program. There are established skyline busters, such as the Swiss Re 'gherkin' in London and the 421m Jin Mao Tower in Shanghai, plus several proposed buildings, including three suggested World Trade Center replacements. It also includes the 7 South Dearborn tower in Chicago, which had it been built would have been the world's tallest building at 610m. The site is slick, easy to use and packed with interesting information and stunning images.
