Cumbria's
Lake District, England's largest
National Park that includes Scafell - its highest
mountain, Wastwater - its deepest lake, and thriving
communities like Keswick and Bowness-on-Windermere,
is a place of natural beauty, and has stunning
views.
It bursting with culture and fascinating little gems
to discover. There are a few outdoor activities that you can do there such as walking, climbing, mountaineering, road cycling, mountain biking, sailing, canoeing, kayaking and more! It's all there in the Lake District and Cumbria in stunning scenery surroundings, with accommodation for all needs and budgets, great local food and drink, fairly easy access from the rest of UK. You can find here photos of Kirkland, place where I've spent two weeks in August 2007, Whitehaven and St Bees. |
