Summer String Festival Korcula 2002

Korcula in Medieval period - On 28th April 2002 Marco Polo have returned to the town of Korčula, with his suite. He was welcomed by the sword dance players and drummers, together with town dignitaries and the medieval banner of the town, guards... Korčula was decorated in the costumes of the 13th century, the streets were lit by torches, the restaurants have served the dishes and drinks from that time, the craftsmen in costumes have presented their own crafts, and medieval singers and players have performed through the town streets.
