TINO
JURJEVIĆ, self-taught artist, was born in Makarska on 19th
February 1980. From the early age he shown that he has that right
painting skills but he started to paint 'seriously' after ending primary
school.
His roots Lumbarda small village on island Korcula that gave us many famous Croatian artists such as Frano Kršinić, Ivan Lozica, Stipe Nobilo, Ante Kriletić-Jordes and Ivan Jurjević-Knez. Tino is painting mostly around Lumbarda, especially sea, boats, pebble beaches, olive trees and stone that this part of the World is very famous for centuries. He uses various painting techniques such as watercolours, pastel and recently started oil-painting. He had exhibitions in Zagreb (1999) and Dubrovnik (2000), and together with other artists in Korcula (2000 & 2001). He is a member of Korcula's Society of Fine Arts. He lives and work in Lumbarda (island Korcula). |
