Volunteering

| Home | Introduction |

While I was living with my family in Bury St Edmunds, I was involved a lot with Bury St Edmunds Volunteer Centre. I've helped:

- physically handicapped people with various projects

- mentally handicapped people with various projects. On 11th March 2002 I've been told by staff of The Caretaker House (Community Mental Health Resource Centre, owned & managed by East Suffolk Mind) following: "...Two of your students, during your work for us, have finished their Degrees, met lovely partners and are back in normal life. This was a turning point in their life..." I was very pleased to hear this news. It just added up a value on my care & volunteering work.

- old people with their gardening

- Volunteer Centre by driving one of the Dial-A-Ride mini buses helping old people getting around (see below)

- I am still volunteering whenever I can. My latest project was webmastering Golden Jubileee in Felixstowe website, performing on a Jubilee Day and Coordinating main event - song at opening ceremony from Queen at 1PM on 3rd June 2002.

Check also my work within Thomas Wolsey Special Needs School in Ipswich.
